Distilled at Lochranza on the northern tip of the Isle of Arran, the Arran 10 Year Old is the definitive expression of the island’s house style: bright, fruity and unpeated. Matured primarily in ex-bourbon barrels with a share of sherry casks, it’s bottled at 46% ABV with no chill-filtration and no added colour, so what you taste is exactly what the casks gave it. Fresh, citrusy and gently sweet with a lingering spice, it’s an approachable everyday dram that rewards closer attention, and a great introduction to the island whiskies of Scotland.
